Pre-Enrollment Application

Champions Christian Academy is the only accredited PreK3-12th grade school in Cass County. We were the first private school in Texas and the 2nd in the U.S. to receive Accreditation with “Honors” from ACTS after the first site visit. ACTS is an accreditation agency for the Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC). In addition, we have achieved Quality Status from the A.C.E. School of Tomorrow.

STEP ONE:

School Choice has passed in Texas! Texas will soon allow you to apply for a Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) for each of your students. TEFAs will allow parents and guardians to choose the accredited school of their choice. The amount of the award for a child in a private school without increased funding due to a disability will be $10,474. You may read the complete rules that Texas established by clicking this link: Senate Bill 2

Section 29.368 of Senate Bill 2 established that no state agency may adopt a rule or take action that would: 1) limit or impose requirements that are contrary to our religious or institutional values, 2) limit our decision to choose methods of curriculum, 3) limit or restrict our admissions and enrollment policies, and 4) modify our religious practices, operations, conduct, policies, standards, assessments, or employment practices.

STEP TWO:

We monitor the rules and application dates, and ask that you send a Pre-Enrollment Application so that we will be able to assist you in completing your application for TEFA funds. Texas has announced February 4, 2026 as the official opening date and will continue until March 17, 2026. We are available to provide informational assistance as you apply for the TEFAs. If you are chosen to receive TEFAs and are planning to apply to Champions Christian Academy for admittance, we will have the following information to better prepare our facilities and make sure our staff are adequately prepared for the arrival of your student.
